The incredible Demmy Blaze recreates the iconic May 1994 cover featuring exotic dancer and Hall of Famer Tawny Peaks, in celebration of 30 years. As always, Demmy delivers an outstanding performance.
May 1994 marked Tawny’s second appearance. She had made her debut in July 1993 and was interviewed by fellow dancer Montana, while Deena Duos graced the cover that same July.
Tawny was discovered in 1990 during Spring Break in Daytona Beach, Florida, when publisher John Fox and photographer John Graham were on the lookout for new talent. “I was vacationing in Florida, working on my tan during Spring Break when John Graham approached me about modeling and becoming a feature entertainer,” Tawny recalled. “I was very shy and a little apprehensive, so I just took his phone number and blew it off. About two years later, I found his number and gave him a call.”
“I had the pleasure of meeting Tawny when we were both in Sanibel Island, Florida, shooting photo layouts,” Montana later shared. “We became instant friends.”
Originally known as Heleana before enhancing her breasts, Tawny became one of the most iconic models and a highly sought-after exotic dancer of the 1990s—an era we may never see again.
